Newly Minted Winner: LiveArea Takes Home the Gold for United States Mint Campaign

The holiday digital marketing campaign LiveArea created under its contract with the United States Mint received top honors in the AVA Digital Awards. This international competition recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for conceptualizing, planning, directing, designing, and producing digital communication.
The Iconic Traditions campaign — including an online holiday gift guide, landing page, email, social and paid media — won the gold award in the digital marketing category. The campaign was designed to maximize sales and awareness of Mint products during the holidays, and help the Mint grow its holiday revenue. The campaign was designed so that current and new customers could be reached through multiple media channels, including owned, paid and earned media. The campaign was a collaborative effort between the Mint and LiveArea throughout planning, design and execution.
In addition to taking home the gold in digital marketing, LiveArea received an honorable mention for a website and navigation refresh of the Mint catalog website.
AVA Digital Awards honor the evolving ways to engage audiences through the creative convergence of digital arts, technology and information. The foundation for the awards began in 1994 as a celebration of audio-visual arts. Over the years, AVA’s categories changed to recognize the expanding role that digital media and the web pay in the transfer of information.
The award program is administered and judged by Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), one of the oldest, largest, and most respected evaluators of creative work in the marketing and communication industry.
