Davey Award Gold Winner

And the Winner is … LiveArea

NEWS

Client satisfaction and success are the best measure of a job well done. But it’s also satisfying to receive outside praise for creativity. That’s why we’re proud to announce LiveArea is a gold winner in two categories of the 2018 International Davey Awards. More than 3,000 entries were received for the global awards.

Our creative design work for YETI, a leading manufacturer of outdoor lifestyle products, took top honors in the best website category for consumer products and services. Anastasia Beverly Hills, a leading beauty brand, won the gold award for best visual appeal and aesthetic.

And that’s not all. We also took home several silver awards, too:

  • Silver winner – Anastasia Beverly Hills: Best User Experience
  • Silver winner – YETI: Best User Experience
  • Silver winner – YETI: Websites: Shopping

Content takes center stage at YETI’s flagship digital storefront. Rich shoppable stories feature images aligned with the brand’s persona and YETI products. Innovative shopping functionality such as a guided selling application takes the guesswork out of purchasing YETI goods.

For Anastasia Beverly Hills we designed a highly personalized, branded digital experience with refined, interactive beauty features that bring the brand to life.

David Versus Goliath

Legend has it that David defeated Goliath with a big idea and a small rock. The Davey Awards honor the achievements of the “Creative David’s” that derive their strength from big ideas rather than big budgets. The awards are given annually to shops, firms and companies worldwide.

The Davey is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). The AIVA is an invitation-only member-based organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.

Current membership represents a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including: Code and Theory, Condé Nast, Disney, GE, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Microsoft, Tinder, MTV, Push., Publicis, Sesame Workshops, The Marketing Store, Worktank and Yahoo!, and many others.
